Seriously Sartorial Swimwear
It’s safe to say most places you will look this year will have tailor swim shorts. They are super popular and look great, I myself intend on getting some for the summer…when it arrives!
What are they? Well they look like a really nicely fitted, above the knee short, usually with a low-rise waist. You can swim in them and do everything you would in a normal short, they just look millions of times better than having a drawstring. Here are my top 3 tailored swim shorts that you should definitely be packing this summer!
If you follow me on Instagram then you’ll know I definitely want to get myself a pair of these…they actually became available today *cuts blog post short to go and buy*...sadly out of stock in my size in EVERY COLOUR...cry!! Seriously they are ridiculously stylish, M&S are doing loads to really up their image and having David Gandy on board is perfect, not only is he the king of male models and daily-dapper, but he knows style and has created a collection that is for sure going to go through the roof this summer! These are available for a really fantastic £25 - click here to check them out.
If a tailored swim short around the pool of your St Barts hotel doesn’t scream ‘I’m from the nice part of Britain’ enough then a Jack Wills tailored swim short is exactly what you need. With an RRP of £44.50, the Feildon Tailored Swim Short is available in three colours. They come with a shorter leg length than other JW shorts and feature silver trims, a classic zip fly plus internal mesh lining. Browse and buy, here!
The names Bond…
Bluemint might not be a name you have heard of before, I only heard of them for the first time today and I am set to work with them this summer for my #FuelMySummer campaign. Their Bond short is a tailored mid-length short perfect for wearing around the pool, heading for lunch or exploring your way around beautiful cities. There’s so many colours and patterns to choose from, starting at £89. Click here to check them out!
The tailored short is sophisticated, think less of Marbs and Benidorm and more of remote island, caribbean vibes…will you be rocking a pair this summer?
