Shoes Cruise 👟
One of the big parts of every outfit is shoes, which shoes are appropriate to wear, heck it’s a big task getting a whole outfit on point. If you’re spending a day on the family yacht or around the marina and yacht club…you really want to be looking your best.
Chilled and sophisticated you want a look that looks laid back and effortless but packs some serious style with it. Chatham produce quality leather shoes that are not only luxuriously comfortable but also are long lasting quality. They kindly asked me to pick a couple of pairs I would like to have so thought I would blog about them, too!
The first pair are the Compass in Camel, these are a really nice soft leather deck shoe, they are actually machine washable which is pretty impressive - I think they look great, I wore them loads for meals out and just around the marina, they are smart yet casual and really comfortable if you’re doing a little bit of walking. These are available for £89.00 and I think they go really well with a shirt and shorts, keep your shirt unbuttoned…it creates an ultra-casual look! If I had one negative about these…and like really you have to search for them, for me I find the laces a bit long and a bit too chunky, you end up with a huge bow that kind of flops around a bit…but then I pretty much hate all kinds of laces anyway!
The next pair are a sort of slip on leather espadrille style shoe, they are honestly SO comfortable they are great for just slipping on and heading to town for a mooch, they’re effortlessly simple and fantastically stylish you can team them with just about anything from swim shorts to chino shorts, plus your feet just don't get sweaty in them…somehow they get air in and keep your feet cool and pong-free! These Ibiza Espadrilles are available for £55.00.
What shoe style are you digging this summer? I was all about looking smart casual when I was in Mallorca so these quality leather shoes came in real handy for all different styles of outfits!
