Cocktail Club: The Moscow Mule(ish)
What’s up guys, so it’s been quite a while since our last visit to The Cocktail Club - however it’s something I personally enjoy so I’m bringing it back! This time, I had a few random ingredients in the cupboard and there was only really one cocktail I knew I could make with them. It isn't quite a Moscow Mule because I switched out the lime for a leftover lemon from pancake day, however I actually think a lemon works better, try it out and let me know what you think!
What you’ll need
- Ginger Beer
- Angostura Bitters
- 1/4 of a lemon
How to make it
It’s such a simple cocktail to make, all you need to do is fill your copper mug or glass with ice, crushed is better.
Next up, chuck in a jigger of vodka and one dash of bitters.
Squeeze in your quarter of a lemon and top it up with ginger beer, you could use alcohol-free ginger beer if you’re not fancying a super heavy night.
Using a bar spoon, give it a quick mix and garnish the drink with a slice of lemon.
I recommend using the traditional copper mug for your Moscow Mule, not only because it makes it really different, but also because it keeps the drink cooler for longer.
