Steal His Style: Jamie Laing
Yuh so like Made in Chelsea season 9 is like totally upon us…can you literally believe it?
The lovely folks at E4 released the press pictures of the cast of their hit reality show (no, not ‘Taking New York’ 😏) Made in Chelsea. Believe it or not, it’s already season 9…doesn't time fly - gone are the days of Millie’s red palm after slapping the heck out of love-rat Spencer and his slicked back ‘do (don't we all miss that hair, no? Okay) and don’t even mention Gabilicious...which will ALWAYS stand as THE most Chelsea name possible.
However enough of the past, you know me, I’m all about the present (and presently I have man-flu, feel my pain, bros!). The Chelsea cast took on a rather classic, luxury look for their latest photoshoot to promote the show. Looking mainly at Jamie Laing, series 9 questions are being asked, will he find love this season, the answer? Yes, probably multiple times, he throws that word around like Mark Vandelli throws diamonds…excessively!
Jamie wore a simple tux style suit and an open neck shirt. Stealing this style is pretty easy and can definitely be readily found on the high street! Take a look below on how to Steal his Style!
The Black Ultra-Skinny Fit Tux from Topman is a fantastic option for those ‘smart-casual’ events where you aren't quite sure what the smart to casual ratio should be. At £150 for the whole suit you really can't go wrong with this quality Topman tailoring, plus you have the option to buy just the jacket OR just the trousers - definitely worth a look!
I’ve become such a fan of Blue Inc lately - I think they do some fantastic products and the prices are crazy competitive. The cutaway collar on the white Retro Fire shirt gives it a bit of edge and the price tag sits nicely under £15 - a wardrobe essential, you can dress it up for a job interview or pop the collar open and pair with the Topman Tux for the ultimate in smart-chill pardy outfits.
Team this outfit with the right pair of shoes, it might be smart-casual BUT sneakers just aren't going to cut the mustard - a pair of smart brogues will definitely do the trick - go black, brown just doesn't look great when you’re looking all dapper in your tux. The Frankie Brogue from Office’s own brand collection makes for a great buy at £69.99 - I say it in every post, you really do get what you pay for with shoes, head to a decent shoe shop and always buy leather, not plastic!!
Made in Chelsea returns to E4 on Monday at 9pm!
